I will be taking WRE this go-round. I'm enrolled in EET breadth/depth. The breadth worries me the most.... some of the sections were so broad, but I suppose that's the point.
I'm taking the WRE PE Exam in October in Oregon. I actually took the WRE PE Exam way back in 2007 in Illinois (and passed). Unfortunately, when I passed the designated branch of the PE Exam (Civil) was not recorded, so in order to get licensed here in Oregon I have to retake the exam! Stinks to have to retake it because of some botched paperwork, but I'm trying to be positive and consider it a mid-career status check.
Anyway, I'm not signed up for a class so I'm just running through as many practice problems as I can:
Good luck everyone with the studying! I took EET-WR/Env depth from Nazrul last Fall and it helped me quite a bit with organizing all of the topics within the binder. Keep plugging away at your studying as you are almost there.
I'll be taking it. I've got another week or so of EET (on demand) for the depth only. I feel like I've got a good handle on the depth at this point, but starting to worry about the breadth. The specs provided by NCEES are so general. "Concrete (e.g. nonreinforced, reinforced)" and "Columns." Thanks, that really narrows it down!
Also taking the WRE in October 2016, does anyone have suggestions for free study material/equation sheets for the Wastewater section? I have the Metcalf and Eddy manual, but I've only run through a few plant design type problems and some BOD stuff. I was a straight Civil Major and only had intro to wastewater classes so anything is appreciated! Thanks and good luck to the rest of you!
Does anyone know where to get the 2011 PE Civil WRE Practice Exam?
On both ppi and NCEES, it looks like you can only buy the 2014 version. And a friend gave me his solutions to those problems, but he couldnt find his copy of the questions.
