Building on an impressive history of success my client is now entering a new and exciting period of growth, and are looking to recruit a Sales Office Manager who will continue to drive the organisation forward.


Job Description


My client is looking to recruit a proven Sales Office Manager. The role, a new one to the business, will report directly to the General Manager with responsibility for achieving sales and customer satisfaction targets across OEM and Aftermarket customers.

You will be a strong man manager, comfortable developing customer relationships and managing internal sales, with an appetite for customer service and delivering a world class service offering.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Managing, motivating and developing the internal sales function.
  • Managing and growing key accounts in tandem with the Key Account Manager.
  • Ensuring the sales function delivers consistent world class customer service across the customer base.
  • Further develop the ERP and CRM systems to improve business processes.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance through strong analytical skills

The Successful Applicant


Successful candidates will ideally be from an engineering / manufacturing industry with strong exposure to Sales Management and a passionate, customer focused approach. Ideally you will have worked within a small to medium sized enterprise and will have demonstrated an entrepreneurial, fresh thinking management style along with the following attributes:

  • Ideally degree qualified.
  • Experience of managing sales from within a manufacturing business, also having successfully held customer facing responsibilities.
  • Display strong administrative and analytical skills.
  • Significant exposure to ERP systems.
  • Experience in the implementation and use of CRM systems.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • An innovative and customer focused thinker
Ideally based within a commutable distance of the S. Yorkshire area.
