Hi I am trying to find out..what materials can I carry in the exam in Texas.

1. Can I bring the Power practice problems by camara as well?

2. Can I handwrite problems and solutions and bring it for my reference?

3. Are hand written notes consisting of formulas and equations allowed?

4. I am Planning to bring Power reference Manual Camara, and some text book. would this be allowed?

5. NCEES exam book is allowed so have I heard.

Someone who has taken the exam, please shed some light. Appreciate your help.

You're much better off contacting the Texas board directly and verifying this. You can also use the web chat feature to chat with an NCEES rep and verify this information.

The Texas exam website - https://engineers.texas.gov/lic_exams.htm , section specific to the PE exam, refers you to NCEES for information on reference material and books.

Thank you!

I called NCEES and their response was "Any thing is allowed in the exam as long as they are in a binder" .

I also mentioned that someone told me soldved exams are not allowed to this NCEES rep's response was: "No sir that is not true. Any materials are allowed as long as they are in binder or not loose"

I am planning to take Graffeo and spin up in the exam in addition to Camara ref manual. I hope this is okay.

Keep all notes bound and you'll be fine.
