I'm looking at an afternoon structural reference package that includes timber, steel, and concrete text books focused towards the exam. If I already have text books on these subjects should I still purchase these or will they just be a repeat of what I already have? Should I just buy the reference manual and practice problems separately and not get the other stuff?

My opinion is that you are better off knowing a few references really well than having a whole bunch of mostly redundant reference material that isn't as familiar.
