Power Factor Issue

One of the projects I am working on has a power factor issue

Currently We have connected some Ventialtions Fans- 2x125Hp and 1x200 HP along with some 30HP Pumps-Direct on Line and a 150HP Compressor-Direct on Line

Unti 8:30 this morning, the power factor read on the revenue meter was 0.89 lagging which makes sense since the VFD is helping with some of the correction. For some reason, since 8:30, the system has gone to a -0.89 to -0.95 leading power factor- This is very unexplained as no apparent changes were made to cause a shift?

Any thoughts?

Are all devices still working? One of them may be failing, but not failed yet. Maybe your monitoring equipment is failing?

Can you turn off some of the loads to see if the power factor changes?

Check the Cts (metering system). Seems like a reverse polarity issue.
