The solution to this problem by NCEES is getting me confused.......I think for this type of problems the height of the wall is what governs what formula to use, this problem states that the height of the wall is 9' so we should apply the short formula. Even though the book gives the correct answer I believe they should use the proper formula or maybe I don't see where the trick is?
