  1. I started studying for an exam planning to take an exam around May-ish. Because we are transitioning to the CBT format, I guess we are more flexible in terms of when to take the exam. I'm planning to signing up on SoPE for review but I feel like I should wait until they come up with the newer lectures in April. Because we are transitioning to a new format, I feel like their October lectures will be outdated. Should I sign up on their live course and wait until April, or should I just sign up now and start studying? If I sign up on their April, I feel like I should push back on exam date, but I'd rather not. What would you do if you were in my shoes?
  2. Hi All, Not sure if this has been asked before- I am signed up to take the On-Demand Civil/Transportation Course from SoPE for the April 2019 Exam. I work a lot of crazy hours in the winter (unexpected and unplanned) so because the course is On-Demand, I planned on starting the review as early as possible (using the October 2018 lectures). I would ideally like to be able to re-watch the Spring 2019 lectures as well, but if time does not allow, will I not be adequately prepped for the April 2019 exam from the October 2018 lectures... Same question goes for the lecture notes to bring to the exam... do I need to print these twice.. Thanks
  3. Hi, I am taking WRE PE on April 2017 and want to choose between School of PE and EET for the best Breadth session. I have read the previous posts about how good EET is for WRE depth section. But I want to make sure I will not go wrong with Breadth portion since that is the section I am weakest at. Thanks!
  4. has everyone had time to review everything in their class? Has it been hard or easy going? Please state which class you are enrolled in
  5. Just wanted to bring to folks attention that SOPE got some pretty bad reviews in their power section. Not the program per se, but the instructor, who in my opinion was TERRIBLE. The name has been mentioned, so no need to rehash it. That said, SOPE has rehashed its entire power class with new instructors, and have responded to the many student comments - good for them - it should have happened a long time ago!
  6. Hi Everyone, I am thinking to take FE electrical review course, and I still deciding between School of PE and Prepineer. Anyone who took FE review with them, please tell me the difference ? Please, kind of want to decide ASAP. if there has better options, please let me know as well. Thank you !!!!
  7. They seemed to have not changed the format of the course for the CBT since the 8hr courses are the general topics which in my opinion is a waste the CBT is based on your topic so the 8 hr courses should be your topic not general. The main CBT topics in my case electrical are covered in 3hrs per topic(circuits, controls, electonics, etc) which as you can image is not enough time. I have sent an email to sope to see if they will add extra time for more coverage I have not heard a reply from them yet. Ill keep you guys/gals updated as to what happens.
  8. I have a question about the school of PE format? I'm registered for the February class coming up. I just want to know from anyone who has taken the course about how many example problems did the instructor get through per 3hr weekday session. Also the assigned homework did the instructor go over how to get the answers in class?
