  1. I read about that new book. I think to save money and not pay for EET Classes I will probably go and purchase that new book that came out back in January. Looks very promising.

    October 2020

With April exams cancelled, I am looking ahead towards October and knock this exam out of my way once and for all. I need some tips for people who passed the PE exam or have experience with material. this will be my third time taking it, and money is short for me. I am planning to purchase EET structural on demand class ($550) and I don't have a breadth material (Had to return back to coworkers). I asked EET if I can purchase the binder alone but no chance. I am in between purchasing EET binder from someone (please?) or purchase school of PE booklet ($240). What is better....School of PE or EET ?? (breadth) thank you.

  4. thank you for the reply. Yes I might take it in April, for my opinion about EET was pretty good honestly. I almost passed this exam just with the notes of EET, if I took the on demand classes then I think I would have passed. EET is a powerful tool for structural depth. The morning portion was okay. I found myself using some sections of testmasters over EET, so I am debating to take EET or school of PE for the morning part.
  5. 2nd Attempt failed: STRUCTURES AM: 28/40 PM: 20/40 Felt okay leaving the exam to the point I did enough to pass, sadly I was wrong. I saw my grade and I was very close to passing this one 😓 I borrowed EET notes from a friend for AM and PM, I also had some test master notes. I am planning to skip the april exam and take a break and retake the exam in October. This time take the On Demand classes of EET AM and PM. If anyone has better tips for me please don't hesitate.

    Weld symbols

Hello, does anyone know what reference they will use if they ask weld symbols related questions? i see AISC manual has some and I have AWS D1.1 also but I am looking for something better. anyone has some tips they are willing to share? thanks,
  8. For conceptual questions I would like to know for the people who took the exam already, which notes are better to be ready for those questions. (I know it can be difficult since NCEES can ask you ANYTHING) EET, Test masters, or School of PE? For the AM part of the exam.
  9. Hello. I am retaking the structural PE exam. I am looking around amazon.com and I am seeing a lot of material for the PE EXAM. any recommendations from there? specifically for structures, even tho if you guys came across a very good practice / study book in amazon for the morning part please let me know. tHanks,
  10. Is anyone selling the EET structural depth binder? I am willing to take it off your hands 😃
  11. for those who passed. Can anyone refer me to a good reference and practice problems book that help them alot in the PM portion?
  12. First time taking it and I failed. AM 23/40 PM 17/40 I took around 3-5 practice exams AM and did pretty good and on the actual exam unlucky to get 23/40 (just my luck). I took testmasters and it helped with AM portion but concept questions were very difficult and testmasters did not help with that (maybe just a little bit 1-2 questions) Testmasters were useless in the PM portion. I only took 2 practice exam for PM and honestly was pretty difficult. Followed testmasters practice problems but structures was just too broad for it. Studied a lot for this exam but it was not enough. What is next now? maybe take it in October again. Positive note is I used a lot of time watching videos from testmaster, now I can do nothing but practice problems, but I really need to focus on PM portion. Anyone have any advice for me for my 2nd attempt? What practice books I can use or perhaps classes? What can help me w/ conceptual problems in the AM portion?
  13. that sucks. Whats the motive to retake it when you see that 44% pass rate.
