    Im skipping the exam.

That's how NE is. No limit to retaking but after the fourth and subsequent fail, you have to appear in front of the board and present continuing ed and they have to approve.

    October 2018 Exam Authorizations

Yea don't get in your head about it this time. Like leggo said, you know what to expect, you have EET resources. Just take it one problem at a time. From low hanging fruit to the stupid ones you're going to guess on anyway !

    October 2018 Exam Authorizations

Good! IMO, it will get you over the passing score this time! Good luck and be ready for some trolling shortly after
  6. My thoughts, and to clarify, I have 5 out of 7 of your references. I will comment on the ones I have. Also, it took me 3 times to pass this exam so my comparison from these to the exam is credible! Civil PE Exam: How to pass - The problems weren't very difficult compared to the exam IMO. All were pretty simple and the few obscure ones, you will never see on the exam. NCEES - Agreed, this was the best exam that closely resembled the exam difficulty. Just a hint though, they could ask you questions that seem similar to the ones in this book, but will be different in minor ways so be careful and read thoroughly. Mike's - A cake walk, maybe the cut/fill problems will assist you, but all the other ones are easy compared to the exam. The "softballs" you encounter in the exam may resemble these problems. Goswami - A complete waste of time. No exam question will ever be as in depth as the ones in this book. I will use this book as kindling when I start fires. As for the 6 minute - I also have this reference but I didn't use it. Those are still set up to represent how the exam used to be formatted (i.e. solve parts A-E) so it could be useful I suppose but the exam will only ask you to solve one of those parts. I'll leave that one up to you. That's my 2 cents Hope it helps.

    WR&E Test / Studying Anxiety

So are you self studying? If so, have you gathered a large number of practice problems? You should constantly be doing problems even though you don't have motivation. Break it down into small sessions each day if you have to. Don't rely only on concept studying if you are. Also, it might help/give you motivation to study if you put together a schedule for the remaining time. That way, each day, you can look at what you need to study and check it off the list. Schedules always seemed to work for me. They gave me the structure and drive to keep pushing forward. I took this exam three times before I passed so don't underestimate this thing. If by chance you aren't successful this time around, don't waste anymore time and purchase a review course. Yes, it is a decent amount of money up front but trust me it is less then what you will spend taking the exam over and over again. Hope this helps.

How to study for second time taking PE?

Good luck! It will all be worth it when you pass.

How to study for second time taking PE?

I don't know how SoPE is for construction depth, but I haven't heard very good things about it for other depths. I took EET for WRE so again not sure how Construction is for it but I thought it was very well put together and I believe it was what helped me pass. I am sure you can find some reviews on both for Construction. I agree with leggo though. Practice problems all the way. Gives you the most exposure to what could be on it. Good luck! You got this. It took me three times so don't get discouraged!

Has anyone tried EET or PPE Exam Cafe?

I hope you learn a lot and enough to get you prepared for those areas! Good luck!

Has anyone tried EET or PPE Exam Cafe?

Hmmm, potentially but I would say only partially. EET will be weaker, if not have any info, on the areas in the enviro exam specs that don't line up with the WRE specs (i.e. air, site remediation, solid and haz. waste, etc.). EET only follows the specs of the depth you signed up for. And they don't offer any courses outside of the Civil discipline.

Has anyone tried EET or PPE Exam Cafe?

Got it. Yeah, I can't speak for SOPE but EET will benefit you! I would say the CERM is all you need for the breadth. That and the EET depth material. Of course, bring what you feel but that is mainly all I used.
  18. CivilGuy00

Has anyone tried EET or PPE Exam Cafe?

You're welcome. And just to clarify, if you choose to do just one EET, I would suggest the depth. Unless the SOPE covers the depth stuff?

And compared to the other course costs, it's so worth it. I'll even use the binder at work when needed.

Has anyone tried EET or PPE Exam Cafe?

So I didn't take the breadth course, only the depth. I did use the binder though for the breadth. It has what you need for it. If I remember right, I barely used the CERM for the H&H section in the morning.

Has anyone tried EET or PPE Exam Cafe?

Yes he is quite good. And you should get all you need for water and environmental in the depth course, especially since you are taking WRE. It will be enough, trust me.

Has anyone tried EET or PPE Exam Cafe?

So I recently passed the WRE PE this time around. I chose to take EET WRE Depth and I believe it was a huge factor to me passing! I think we talked after we both failed the Oct 2017 exam. But yeah, I would highly suggest EET WRE Depth. Great lectures for refreshing (or new learning) and the reference material given is worth its weight in gold! Nazrul will help you succeed.

    TX Scores

So it would SEEM a 52/80 (maybe less) RAW would be a passing this time around.
  24. I also know a couple amazing test takers. I, just like @Maine PE PLS am NOT one of those people. It doesn't seem fair, especially when you know the ethics and morals of these people and they still succeed with minimal effort. Oh well, it rains on the just and unjust.
