    Kids of EB

Nope nope nope. I'd better be concentrating on retirement strategy. Don't jinx me on accident!
  3. Oops. Did not pay attention. Can you tell i was looking for CUE info too.

    Kids of EB

Wow... this thread makes me feel old... My son is a sophomore in college!!! But, I don't miss the daycare, diapers, car seats etc. days at all. Glad those days are GONE!
  5. Took an electrical course a long time ago. Remember it as fairly decent and practical (I hate classes that are too theory-based). Madison campus is also a nice place to be, when the weather is warm(er). :-)

    Complex Imaginary Practice Books

There is no telling which way the test next April will be, qualitative or back to more quantitative. I consider myself lucky because I happened to do well on the concept questions in October and indeed I hardly used my SOPE materials or the CI book. Having said that, I think this book is good for drills and get you up to speed. Has you (OP) tried to contacted CI through their YouTube channel? I wonder what's going on with them.

    Complex Imaginary Practice Books

Not sure what's going on with the website, but according to the other thread in the Yard Sale section, price on used copies has now gone up almost 300%!
  8. Electrical - Power Took the SOPE live class (4 hrs a night, 4 nights a week for 5 weeks) - Sub-total: 80hrs. Weekends on my own - about 75hrs. Last week before exam - about 40hrs (took 4 days off from work). Total about ~200 hrs. Was a bit panic and feeling unprepared at the end. Passed (first time). AM session took me about 3.5 hours and PM session about 2.5 hours. I think I did well thanks to the qualitative questions.. If I had to do it again? Bring a copy of NESC. Dress in layers (morning was ok but afternoon was roasting as the old ladies (proctors) cranked up the heat!

    POWER PE FAILING SCORES

So if you passed the Power PE, would you sign as a Power/Electrical PE, or would you still be a Structural/Civil PE? How does this work?

    New P.E.

I wish they gave me my score (Maryland). Would like to know how I did (on each subject) and not just a pass/fail.
  14. Frankly now that I have passed and can safely put the prep books away, I kind of want to find something else to pursue. After all, I was on a roll for a couple months, 4 hours a night for 5-6 days every week. After the exam I asked myself now what (to do with all the "free" time)... Will enjoy the holidays first then come up with a plan. I know I will FAIL the next doctor exam for sure! :-)
