  1. I have the study material that I am planning to sell. Let me know if you are intersted. Please message me.
  2. I have PE chemical test masters material for sale if you are interested. you can contact me at rajender.brahman@gmail.com or 9372124390. I used this extensively for the exam and the problems are similar to what they have on the test. Thanks.

  3. PE afternoon questions focus on depth in the subject and are allotted 6 min for each. so to answer your question they are longer and involve several steps as opposed to FE exam which involves one or two steps at the most. PE exam is divided into breadth in the AM and depth in the PM sessions.
  4. Review classes for PE Chemical are very few and if you live in Houston, I would recommend Testmasters or Delaware DVD review course. From my experience if you study as per the PE exam specifications, you should be in a good shape to pass. I dont necessarily recommend review course if you have sufficient time on your hands studying and understanding fundamentals. NCEES sample exam book is very helpful and suggest, you practise the test a month before the exam. Do not open it before then and if you do, you are wasting your time and efforts you put in for preparation because it will help you understand how much you are prepared. Let me know if you need anything else?
  5. It all depends on how far you have been away from school. The longer you have been out of school, its worth going for general in the PM session which I did because I was out of school for almost 5 years. Its not tough either way but since you study for general subjects in the morning, all you have to do is put in little extra effort for the PM session. If you pick Chemical in the PM session you will have lot of things to work on because most of the topics wont be covered in the morning session but it will help you in the long run for PE. Again, its your choice but if you ask my advise I would go for general and not worry about PE at the moment. Once you pass FE, start preparing it with fundamentals. Good luck.
  6. I work in SC and if you want to get PE license you need to have work experience with BS degree. No exceptions.
  7. I have Engineers in training reference manual 8 th edition by Lindeburg with solutions manual for sale. This is a comprehensive book for FE/EIT preparation and has few things highlighted by marker. Both these books look very new and if you are interested, email me at rajen.b@gmail.com. Thanks.

  9. Agree. Once you have your license/certificate, you can start using it. You will feel totally different after you start using P.E. after your name. Its a great feeling!
  10. Being a chemical engineer myself, I agree with the posts here that FE/PE are not going to be of much use. But one thing is for sure, its always good to have extra credentials on your resume because some jobs do require you to have PE even though you may never use it but its the company policy to have as many PEs as they can to show the client that they have enough experienced people to do the job. If you end up in consulting,it will be a big plus because you can work on your own and get the contracts using PE. At the end, its always good to have it. So, I suggest you to go for FE and when you have enough working experience, get your PE aswell. Good luck.
  11. For South Carolina, October PE results were released Dec 14th. so I guess anywhere between 6-8 weeks.
  12. Das review refers to Chemical Engineering reference review by dilip das. I think exam refers to the same reference aswell. I have not taken this review or exam but just studied CHERM, NCEES exam, six minute problems and octave levenspiel.
