license lookup has been updated to include Mechanical and Electrical. Did you check your name in database?

Wow, this thread has gone on and on and on. Anyways, hopefully the database will be updated tonite and we'll see the license information tomorrow. Additionally, the board will add the examination statistics soon I guess.

my guess is that it will be based on the ID in the admission letter.
  5. I meant to ask how you could come up with an overall 68 when the details imply less than a 64. What do the details imply about a raw score? How does such a raw score compare to 68? u may find a lot of threads related to the raw score (what you can calculate based on the percentages in each subsection) and the reported (scaled) score. for the above report, the raw score is 46 (27 morning, 19 evening) and the scaled score is 68 as the guy told. there is no direct correlation, but u need a scaled score of 70 to pass.

As far as I know - Mechanical database has been updated. What range is the License Number right now?

What? The License Lookup has not been updated yet. I passed but dont see my info.
  8. you only had 19 correct in evening, which is kinda low. and u r right, u need to brush up a lot of things, especially loading, analysis, mechanics of material an member design. if you practice structural engineering, these should be pretty basic for u.

Congratulations! Thanks. This was such a relief. I am a structural engineer, wrote Geotech in PM and got screwed big time. I'm so glad I made it!!!

Unfortunately, you need to be licensed in one state before you can be licensed in another, regardless of the test requirements. However, you will also need the required professional experience for the State you wish to seek license (e.g. most States require 4 years). In CA, you have to pass 3 tests, but only need 2 years engineering experience to be a PE. Once you have a CA PE and want to get your PE elsewhere, you have to have additional years of engineering work experience to qualify, if that other state requires it. There is a twist to this though. If you pass the 8-hr in California and fail the second day, you may apply for comity in other states given that you meet their requirements. So you don't necessarily need a license before you apply for comity. A friend of mine had similar situation, where he passed the 8-hr and Seismic, but failed Surveying 3 times. He ended up applying for comity in MD and got it after some discussions with the board. So there is hope. Hope that helps.

i have asked this to quite a few, but didn't get any definite answer. what was ur perception of afternoon geotech. and how many did u think u got right in AM and PM. congrats and thanks. I think depth Geotech was average in the sense of difficulty. I think i got 34 in AM and 32 in PM. that is prolly the top score, and ain't helping me much. expect 34-35 in AM and around 25 in PM. alright, wait will be over tomorrow. thanks.

so you thought u will only pass survey and u failed that and passed everything else. things are crazy i guess. still waiting.

Sorry about that. That is strange though, given that Survey is the one that takes its toll. What's your diagnostic, especially for first day.
