  4. In my humble opinion, the idea of a 16 hour structural exam is the dumbest crap. We need to a T party to boycott this stupid thing. Why do they single out structural engineers for this more difficult exam? Do structural engineers make more money? - NO. So is it fair to make structural engineers live more difficult?
  5. Hi folks, I'm handling a project in California which is a one story 22K+ Ft^2 masonry building. Quesionts: 1) does California requires such a building designed by a "Structural" engineer or just a PE? 2) where can I find the state bylaws/regulation regarding this issue? Thank y'all.
  6. mmmh, i got a secret admirer who really really cares. But sorry I can't tell you dude.
  7. 4~5 hour/per day for about 20 days b4 the exam. Passed SE 1.

  10. Hey, Kimccllq, let me know when you wanna go to Saucer I will join you. How about today after work?
  11. I didn't sacrifice too much of family life preparing PE and I didn't give up my college football season tickets (man, it's pain struggling between games and study). But I did put my sex life on hold a little bit. The freakin' books and problems just ruined my taste for it. That's my experience. Thank God I passed.
  12. Sent out 5 thank you notes to the folks and will take some beers to two of them someday after work. They work in the same office so we can drink in their parking garage downstairs.
  13. Don't even mention it! I went there but not a soul looked like an engineer there, not even close. Man, pissed me off! :dancingnaughty:
  14. Here are my comments: 1) I believe Texas registers SE if you pass SE I; That's what I'm planning to do if company pays. 2) Statistics shows that passing rate for Civil is about 20% higher thatn SE I.
  15. Congrats, y'all. I'm just a little upset that no one wants to celebrate with me here in Nashville. What's the problem, people! :dancingnaughty:
