Job Title = Building Commissioning Business Development Leader

Education Required = BS degree in Engineering

Experience Required = 8 -10 years experience in Business Development in the Design/Construction/Commissioning field.

Position Description = Multi‑disciplinary engineering consulting firm is expanding its building commissioning (Cx) services business nationwide by positioning itself as a national commissioning provider. This position will be located in their San Francisco office and be responsible for Cx business development efforts for the San Francisco and Seattle offices.
The position requires significant business development skills to identify, qualify and monitor building commissioning opportunities for the firm. Strong communication, marketing, proposal development and presentation skills are required. The ideal candidate will be a highly independent self starter with project management capability. The individual will lead their own business development activities, track opportunities using the firm’s business development database and present at industry events.
In depth knowledge of the building design and construction industry with expertise in the building commissioning process is essential. Technical knowledge of HVAC and building systems in order to evaluate and test the performance of these systems is also critical.

Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Reports directly to Managing Director of the San Francisco office; Indirect: Chief Operating Officer
Position may have up to 2-3 direct reports
Position is bonus eligible
