Related question: how do you find a good recruiter? I'm working abroad in Korea right now but my contract's up in a few months and I'm looking for a new job for when I go back to the states. I've been doing final testing, and I'm hoping to relocate to the CA area.

use linkedin - you can hook up with TONS of recruiters just dying to meet more engineers. look around for anyone in an HR department and from other recruiting firms like aerotek. they're a tight-knit community, so also be careful not to accidentally snub one of them or neglect them contacting you.
