I took Ahmed's review course Winter 2014 in preparation for the California Seismic Exam to get licensed in CA by comity. Ptatohead here highly recommended Ahmed and his texts over others. I walked into the course with 0% seismic knowledge and passed the first try! I can say with certainty I never would have passed without taking Ahmed's class and without his textbooks. The book was a must have, it breaks down the IBC 2012/ASCE 7-10/CBC 2013 codes into digestible parts. Ahmed's just a top notch teacher too - really goes over and beyond with off hour questions, sessions, etc. I wouldn't recommend anyone else, he's the best.

I agree with Jay. Dr. Ibrahim is the best instructor I've ever had in my life. He's super knowledgeable and careful. He likes to interact with students and always tries his best. You'll see what I mean when you take his course. I wouldn't be able to pass the exam without him. I highly recommend Dr. Ibrahim's seismic class.!!!
