hi,

I just took seismic exam 2 days ago and the figures were all embedded within the questions in the computer software as exhibits. you click on exhibit icon in questions with figures to open a side window with the picture in it.

my question is the same thing adopted in the survey exam for any one who took the survey exam this week ? i read that the exam used to have a figures booklet that is paper copy you receive before the exam and the questions refer you to the booklet for a particular figuire which was cumbersome and time consuming as i read in the reviews, so i hope the survey exam has the figures embedded as the seismic exam now.

I took the Survey Exam today. It has the figures 'pop' up in a new window like you mentioned above (for the Seismic). There is NO booklet anymore.

Hi, i am going to take the exam this weekend and was wondering if you could elaborate as what subjects should I focus more on the Seismic Exam?

Were there a lot of conceptual questions? Any hints would be helpful.

Thanks

gt2ds - my suggestion would be to focus on the published Test Plan for the California Civil - Seismic Principles Exam found at: http://www.bpelsg.ca.gov/applicants/refs.shtml as this is the best and most accurate source for answers to your questions.

It would not be appropriate for anyone that has sat for the exam to discuss the subject matter in more depth.

Good luck in your pursuit of licensure,
