Hi,

I wanted to start a thread about what people made mistakes by which they failed the exam and see what things they plan to do different this time. This could serve as good tips for future exam takers

 
My scenario

I failed by 1 point. I focused too much on my PM which helped me. But what hurt me was I skipped one FULL discipline chapter which accounted for 20% of AM. The reason for the skip was it was not my best area of expertise and was finding it tough. Only if I could have spent time on it, I would have easily made it. So no matter how tough the topics are, learn it and do not skip....

 
This time, I'll be keeping all of my study problems together in a separate binder (instead of inserting them throughout my notes) and labeling them by NCEES subject. I wasted a lot of precious time turning pages.

I'll also try to get my timing under control and move on at the "6-minute" mark. This was so hard for me because I thought that I was close to the answer so I felt that I should keep working on the problem....WRONG
