#17: according to GA tech manual and using alpha the rating would be 412MVA not just 700MVA/3. I'm I missing something?

#20: why do you not divide the gen. internal voltage by sqrt(3)?

#59: uses pu impedance to divide actual values. sorry if this is a crazy question though don't we need everything in pu - do the math - then convert I back to actual? the distribution network should be called the "system" or "transmission network" and provide the available MVA right?

#69: should state "voltage transformer" not "current transformer".

i also have version 2 though have not started. how many errors have you come across?

For those that have taken the test how close is this actually? seems like version one is a little easy.

I have the Kaplan though I was worried about the errors I found starting it so I switched to these. Maybe switch back????

I must give credit to Josh for mailing these the same day I ordered!!! Though I really wish there was an errata page.

Believe I didn't read #17 correctly and that the "source" was rated for 700MVA and not the bank. Thus power in = power out for the ideal xfmr. Not sure if anyone is interested though if the actual xfmr bank is rated for 700MVA what would be the rating of the individual xfmr's?

Still not sure on the others.

Josh is definitely good to work with and will respond soon.

Have josh sent you the errata for the tests?....i havent check on those...but probably the errata have those corrected....i'm not sure....I'm about to start test #4...I forgot whats covered in test 1

I also thought that the first exam was alittle easy. Does anyone know if these will really be helpful on the actual exam?

Josh sent an email to me stating errata will be provided on some problems. that was on 10/15/2011 and no word from him. I emailed him again asking and just waiting.
