The sample exam that NCEES provides has very little space for working the problems. Is the actual exam formatted the same way or is there more space? Also, can you bring a pencil sharpener to the exam?

Does anyone have a good reference for batteries? I have tried the links on the forum and they aren't that complete.

And finally, I took the sample exam last week and got 55 correct. What is the typical passing score?

Thanks,

Pete

Plenty of room to work problems. No pencils permitted. They give mech pencils. Typical passing is pass.

There was plenty of space to work in the book, though I felt like the sample book had more room than I had on the exam. Don't bring your on writing instruments. They provide good ones.

Look for a thread under electrical called "Did you pass? How did you do it?" There are lots of good references in there. I recommend the Wilde & Grainger books, lots of good info in those two books.

This has been asked and answered many times...

Do not bring any pencils, pens, markers, or even crayons with you. None.
