Guys, I just pass the PE (Thanks to all of you who make it possible with your help and support).

Now, does anyone knows how the process is to get a licence in other state? specially OH and CA? Do I need to contact my former supervisors to certify my experience?

Thanks.

M

getting a NCEES record would make the process the easiest. You will have to see what each state requires

To get reciprocity in the beautiful state of California, you will have to take the seismic and survey exams, both of which are much more difficult than the 8 hour (from personal experience). Good luck.

First of all, Congratulations!

A very helpful member posted the following link to a similar question I had:

https://apps.ncees.o...03&section_id=6

It's a Q&A regarding the NCEES Record from various states.

I also just passed and I am in the process of obtaining license in two other states (NY & NJ). For me, unfortunately, the NCEES record is pretty much useless for these two states. However, it seems that a NCEES Record helps quite a bit with getting licensed in OH! But as gueuze mentioned, to be a licensed Civil Engineer in California you will need to take two additional state-specific exams.

Good luck!
