I've been studying off hiner book for seismic. Is that not enough? I had a pretty positive feeling this time too. Did they increase the cutoff score with prometric or something? In the past u only need like 55-60% correct to pass. i dont think i did that bad......like worse than 55%....I don't get it....

This is a very difficult exam. The cut score is a moving target from what I understand. I wonder if if varies from state to state.

I can only imagine how hard the test was... I only had to pass WR/ENV in the afternoon and you have to take 3 exams correct?... Good luck

Don't Give up both surveying and seismic exams are time based and could get tricky and I could swear that the time I failed it I did better than the the time I passed it. I am having the same issue with surveying..I did very good last October and to get 55%-60% is not that hard but I failed.

Try also to do mansour's seismic exams they helped me along with Hiner book. You will pass it next time just do all the problems again and again.

best of luck.

816, shoot Dr. Ibrahim an e-mail or a phone call. If you take his class (or webinar) or, at the least, buy his book, I'm certain you'll pass. Dr. I. is awesome. Good luck.

Huh? The cut score has been very consistent over the years at +/- 50%. There is only one state.

I also highly recommend Dr Ibrahim. I passed seismic from the first time with his help. I bought his book and attended the online Webinars He is the BEST for seismic . You will not be dissapointed!
