Oct 2012 PE Results Pool

So, when do you all think the results for the October 2012 PE exam will be released? I'm guessing Dec 11 (at least for WA). The April exam apparently took 46 days to get those results out, so for this exam that works out to Dec 11.

I would guess it would take a little longer becuase of Thanksgiving. I think it will be a week later than the April test.

I took the exam April 13, 2012 and results arrived to my door June 1, 2012, for what it's worth.

Last year's October exam arrived around the 16th of December. So my guess is the 14th.

For those who took it in NY, I'd guess Friday December 21st around 4pm on the NCEES website. The April 2012 exam, NY allowed results to be viewed on the NCEES account on a Friday June 1st around that time. I understand NCEES releases results to NY, NY then reviews, and then NCEES releases results online. It appears past history shows that NY results are out about a week later.

Maybe the world as we know it does end on 12/21/12 as we find out we passed or did not pass.

Hmm. Just a thought but I feel history probably tends to repeat itself in matters such as these. Thus, if you are looking for a reliable predictor of when the results will be posted I have a feeling it is going to look REALLY similar to this......

I tested in TX....i'm hoping for 12/14....the wait is driving me insane...

Crazy? Really crazy? Cause there are still at least 3 weeks of waiting for the results, best case scenario. Worst case scenario there is some crazy mishap and we dont find out anything until February. Now THAT would be crazy. Right now we arent even near the tip of that big crazy iceberg.

The NCEES released survey exam results yesterday. Hopefully the PE results will be released soon.

Really. So you have to assume that everyones fate is sealed. Man, I really hope I passed, so much is riding on this exam. I already wrote my resignation letter, just ready to hit "print", lol. Gonna try and start my own civil design consulting firm and see what happens. Not looking to get rich quick, I can live off my existing salary of $70,000 per year if I can make that on my own and still be able to pay my small overhead (office space, utilities, re-imbursables of office supplies).

Interesting that the Dec 15-21 option is gaining the most votes so far. I wonder if that has to do with how many states delay the results after NCEES releases them, as opposed to WA that doesn't even look at them, except to the extent those that pass have to get added to the database of active licensees.

A couple guys I took the exam and prep class with are planning to meet with me for a brew on the 14th. I'm just hoping we get the results by then so we can either celebrate or commiserate.

If your state utilizes PCS to administer the exam, be prepared to wait longer. :brickwall:

Well, since it's after 5PM on the east coast it's probably safe to say that whoever that one person was that was optimisitic enough to vote for "Before December 1" has lost in this pool.

Voted fort he week of the 22nd...MD does work through PCS now. I remember my EIT in early April took until mid-June to get to me.

Apparently the FE results were released late last week. A co-worker took that exam, but failed.

Hopefully the FE results already being out for several days means we're within a week or less of the PE results being released.
