I have. They had an overwhelming response so it's taking NCEES longer than anticipated to review and select participants. I received an email saying they will let us know if we were selected by the end of May.

I meant to apply had it filled out and needed to upload a photo and then just lost track with work and my studying so I unfortunately did not. Would have liked to try and be part of this.

Looks like something they plan on doing at least annually so I'm sure you'll be able to apply again. If I'm selected and we're allowed I'll post on how it went and if it was worth it.

I wasn't aware of it. How are the travel expenses handled for the meetings?

I assume the travel expenses will be handled the same as it was for the Exam Development. Usually NCEES pays for air travel and hotel directly. Car rental, gas, and food are then billed using an expense form that you mail to NCEES. They are pretty efficient about reimbursing you. I think I got the reimbursement in about two weeks. I saved all my receipts so they didn't have any questions/concerns about anything I claimed.

I applied. I got asked for additional information after the initial submission, basically having you elaborate on why you'd be a good fit and why you wanted to participate. The most recent email I got said they were hoping to have the decision made by Monday, 5/18.

Like Ramnares, I participated in a Standard Setting Study and found the travel scheduling and reimbursement to be very easy. I used their travel agent to book a flight and NCEES took care of the hotel; I didn't actually even need to be reimbursed for anything.
