Job Title = Plumbing / Fire Protection Engineer
Education Required = BSME
Experience Required = 5+ years experience designing plumbing and fire protection systems. Project experience submitted for consideration should include buildings on which you have actively participated in the project from the design phase through the final construction close-out.
Position Description = Multi‑disciplinary engineering consulting firm is looking for an experienced Plumbing / Fire Protection Engineer.
Work on high quality, high-profile, national and international projects. You will actively participate in the full project cycle, from the design phase through the final construction close-out.
Responsibilities include
Design of Plumbing and Fire Protection systems in high rise buildings
Design of plumbing, storm and sanitary systems
Design of water conservation and fire protection systems
Development of initial Pluming and Fire Protection system concepts,
Calculation of preliminary water, gas, sanitary/sewer and storm loads for utility coordination
Construction administration
Assist with Project Management
Attend client meetings
Requirements:
Strong working knowledge of building and energy codes
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an emphasis on the ability to organize and present design information to clients.
Special consideration will be given to those candidates who have successfully demonstrated innovative design experience specifically related to renewable energies and sustainable, high performing buildings.
LEED AP is preferred
P.E. License is a plus
