I am currently a PE in a non-discipline specific state and likely to move to a discipline specific state next one or two years. I plan to practice two different disciplines in that discipline specific state. I called my Board in the current state (non-discipline state) and was told that it is not allowed to take additional PE exam if you are already holding a PE license.

What is my option if I want to take additional PE exam soon? Can I apply in a neighboring non-discipline specific state for second PE exam? Anyone has similar situation? Thanks

you might have to go to a discipline specfic state to take the other disciple test you eventually want. there are people around here that have taken and passed multiple disciplines.

Let's say State A and B are both non-discipline specific. If PE license holders in State A apply for PE license in State B, can I just tell the board in State B that I want to take another PE exam instead of comity licence?
