We have 2 runs of 4" conduit for communications, and the standard specs from the customer gives us 2 options. I was wondering if anybody on here would know a ROM of the price difference between the options. They are as follows...
1. Schedule 40 PVC encased in steel-reinforced concrete.
2. Rigid galvanized steel conduit with either a factory-applied epoxy coating, two coats of coal tar based paint, or wrapped with 0.01 inch thick pipe-wrapping plastic tape with 50% overlap.
I guess that means there are 4 options since there are 3 different coatings allowed on the RMC. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
