Hey all. Called Castle today...still saying they haven't received results. Any word on when we can expect them?

Called them yesterday for EIT results. They say less than 16 weeks. Standard reply... I hope we get the results this month.

Just got this email from Castle:

-------------------------------------------------------

Good Afternoon,

The package of results was just received from the organization that scores these examinations nationwide. It will take us a few days to go through all the paperwork, verify the data, and transmit the information to NYSED for upload into their systems. I anticipate the score letters going out to all of the individuals next week.

So, looks like us New Yorkers will have to hang tight one more week :brickwall:

Another week....arrrggghhhhh! Its neither fun nor funny having to wait when you know others are getting their results.

Thanks NYENG for the information. Next week sounds a lot better than "within 16 weeks".

hopefully we get them by the weekend.

i'm praying, and hoping for good fortune.

i won't be able to take it this october, my wife is giving birth in september. if not its next april

Good luck. Hopefully you don't have to take it again.

Cheers - we're in the same boat! Wife is due with our first September 10! Hoping I dont have to take the exam again!

I actually thought it'd be another 2 weeks so this is not bad news to me, hopefully :crosses fingers:

thats actually pretty quick, last year they arrived after the 4th of July.

Wasn't the exam earlier than last year though?

ETA: I've been checking the NYS Professions website even though I know they aren't going to be there.

Last PE # is 085839, so you can watch and see when they begin to post new ones.

nice work, bmark3... :)

Here's what I found out from NCEES when I asked about the passing rates:

"The Civil passing scores have been established and pass rates are consistent with historical trends. The statistics should be posted to our website sometime next week. "

Let's see what it does for us...

I would not expect anything until about the same time this year - July 4 weekend. Why should this year be any different.

Hi CCollet - good luck this go-round!

whats up PEPG?

actually this time around i am not on the edge of my seat watching for the results.

i know i didn't do well, i nailed the morning part, but after lunch i started the Transpo section and after about 1/2 hour i wasn't happy with the direction the questions were going so i flipped thru the construction section and changed my afternoon choice to the construction module. because i didn't have many of the references for the construction part so i did most of it off the top off my head and from the CERM, therefore the afternoon was not to promising.

oh well, if i get a 35/40 in the morning maybe the afternoon i got enough....

Didn't you do Geotech last time? I actually switched to Enviro / Water this time, also at the last minute! Not expecting a passing grade either, but here I am again waiting for results!

i always did transpo. but this time there wasn't much (if any) water/stormwater stuff in the transpo. section and seems like 40% of the stuff i do day to day is stormwater.

i will have to change my "strategy" next time. i'm definitely switching to construction or environ/water

You guys really think we'll be waiting on results until July 4? Ugh... :(
looking thru old posts, i found that most people in NY recieved their results on June 29th for the april 2007 exam.

so you'll either have a great 4th of july or a not so great one.

either way, i'll be drinking.

CASTLE just confirmed that they started sending out results. Candidates will be getting letters over the next two weeks...so, July 4th is still a possibility even if the test was earlier this year.
