It's been awhile, but I'm back!
Question for you other H&H types. In HEC-RAS, when do you choose to use the energy only versus pressure and/or weir high flow methods? I have a project in which with the pressure/weir is selected, I'm overtopping by a foot or so, and if I choose energy only, the water surface is above the low chord upstream, but goes though the culvert. Local testimony indicates no overtopping in roughly 50 years. There is some filling in of the opening to protect historic aspects of the structure.
