Re-Registration for Georgia PE Exam

I unfortunately didn't pass on my first try at the PE exam in April and am re-registering for the Fall 2017 exam.  I've already re-regisered and paid my fees to NCEES.  Is anyone else re-taking the test in Georgia?  The Georgia SOS website has zero info on re-registering.  I've previously called the SOS's licensing office and was told that I had to send in the $30 exam fee (to the State) to sit for the exam again.  I just called again because I was worried about the deadline to send in the fee and was told I only had to pay the $30 fee with my initial application and wouldn't need to pay again unless I was applying after failing 4 times.  Has anyone else been through this?  Not sure which customer service rep to trust!  They wouldn't give contact info or put me through to anyone at the GA Engineering & Land Surveying Board.
