I did not pass the Oct 2016 exam after doing a self study.  For the April 2017 exam, I enrolled in EET.  For those that enrolled in EET or similar classes, what, if any, additional study resources did you use?  Or... Did you limit your study to the references provided?

Despite the fact that EET provided a lot of practice problems, I bought some practice problem books especially for the depth portion. I have them listed in yard sale and ebay if you are interested. Good luck!!!!!

I used every Construction Depth practice test I could get my hands on. I also did a series of Breadth practice exams. The tests and practice problems I solved outside of EET's were as follows:

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1517351707/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1  Goswami

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1511937726/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1  Desantis

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1494234858/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1  Goswami

And, NCEES Practice Exam, Breadth and Construction Depth, available from NCEES directly.

I treated all of these like an actual 4 hour exam except for the 6 minute solutions (6MS) book. I would sit down at 8AM sharp, work with my references for 4 hours, then score my results.

6MS is 100 questions broken into discreet topics. I solved those sequentially over the course of several study periods but I did not attempt any 4 hour / 40 question simulations. Still, it was a valuable book because it gives a different take on problems from Goswami, Desantis, and NCEES.

Goswami obviously is a prolific author of exam-style questions. I found his questions to generally be more difficult than the exam questions. I scored worse on his tests than I did on Desantis, EET, and NCEES practices. His latest book from 2016 is, in my opinion, on par with the exam.

Desantis's book was a great method of preparation for the Construction depth.

Best luck to you.
