First time exam taker, took the 8 hours exam in October, Salem Area, Oregon.

Got the result today noon. Saw the Pass. Overwhelmed by happiness.

I still remember I walked out from the exam hall with a blank mind ( guessed couple of questions, and the structural depth is pretty hard, at least for me).

Also, I don't know how many of you will be reading this, but I would like to express my thanks to a guy who also took the structural depth at Salem that day, thank you for driving me back to the Hotel ( I could not get a Cab that day after the exam is done, and there is no Uber or Lyft in Salem Oregon, I was really desperate that time and the day is getting pretty dark, So i had to aske a guy to drive me back to the hotel. We did a short discussion on how hard the structural depth was..... ).

So, Hey, I don' t know if you would see this, but Thank you so much for driving me back to the hotel, and I really wish that you also overwhelmed by happiness today!  Hope to see you in the 2017's CA Seismic and Survey Exam! And wish you all the best!!!

To the rest of you who didnt get the result yet, I wish you all PASS !!!!!

Haha I think that was me! You had the crate with all the books yeah? Crazy stuff. Glad to hear you passed as well.

Was I the only one who felt like I was at an airport? I saw people with huge roller suit cases. I had a large roller milk cart and used about 90% of the books that I had with me. I left the AM session thinking I took the wrong exam and was already preparing myself mentally to retake the test in April. Yes it was that bad. And then to make matters worse, I finished the PM session with an hour and a half to spare after guessing on two questions. I finally turned in my papers thinking it's pointless to waste anymore time when I'm going to retake in April anyway. So I left at 4.

Needless to say, the "PASS"  I saw yesterday was a shocker. I had to rechecked about 10 times to make sure it's still there. What a feeling...
