Hi,

There are four set of energy meter readings. Reactive power lag & Reactive power lead while exporting from DISCOM, Reactive power lag & Reactive power lead while importing to DISCOM. What is the significance of all the four readings? What exactly lag and lead mean??

Are you studying electrical engineering or are you asking such that you have a different background?

In either case, the concepts "lagging" and "leading" refer to the power factor of a circuit. Where current either leads or lags voltage depending on the type of circuit (capacitive or inductive). More info on that here.
