PLEASE READ - NCEES Pencil Issue

A buddy of mine who is on the state board just told me NCEES had a manufacturing issue with the pencils. They are going to announce in the next couple days that everyone should consider bringing their own #2 Mechanical Pencil for the exam, since they  may not have enough leftover from previous exam dates.

Hmm.. Interesting. I will look out for an update.

That would be excellent, I hate their pencils...

This is going to screw up the color predictions.

Uh oh.  Okay, so if this is the case, my backup prediction is the yellow Paper Mate Sharpwriter #2.



Otherwise, I am sticking with my half-baked pencil color theory which has held true over recent years (October of an even year = Green):

They were also "collected" in my state as well. But it was going to be a cold day in hell if they thought I wasn't taking it with me.

I read the first sentence, and I starting thinking to myself "Oh no, poor kf, Bummer for him".  Then I read the second sentence and almost spit my coffee on my monitor.  Too funny.

NCEES pencils are like money, horsepower, computer memory, and beautiful women.  You can't have too much. 

Anyone receive any notice from NCEES about this?  I haven't.
