I have taken and passed the PE Exam early in SC. I have another 2 years before I am able to apply for licensure in SC, but I have recently relocated to CA. I currently meet the requirements for licensure in CA and since I am working there now I would like to get a CA license. Does anyone know the right way to proceed? Is this even possible?

Check with BPELSG.  It looks like you are Elec, right?  If you were Civil you would need to take the CA-Survey/Seismic exams.  But for Elect, you might be ready for licensure now since you passed the national exam.  Worse case I think is they'll want another few years of experience before you can become licensed.  But check with them.
