Lock laces

Technically no, but my Keens have the same style laces and I love them.

yes those.  I might invest in a pr for minisnicks shoes this fall.  he knows how to tie laces, but he got tired of retying loose laces and double  knotted them and wears them like slip ons

Nopes, but my 10yr old needs about 4 pair.

I had these ones on a pair of trail running shoes I had. They were on Salomon shoes, and worked well for the purpose. I don't think they were that specific brand though, as they were Salomon shoes.

I'd say they'd probably be good for minisnick!

this time i was sort of thinking for me.  I have bought these same shoe many times but somehow the laces this time are way longer than previous versions.  If I am going to replace them anyways I would contemplating the tieless variety

Well, they are $10 for one par, $15 for 2 pairs, and $20 for 3 pairs on Amazon right now.

A similar version of these came on some Hoka One One running shoes I had, but I just couldn't like them.  To be fair, the ones that come on Hokas have a much thinner lace and I don't think that helps at all...having a thin string applying more pressure to the top of your foot.  For "speedlaces" they really weren't any faster than tying regular laces.

Now, if you're just talking about something like the picture and it's just for general walking around then I'd say those would probably work fine.

Yeah, the cords on my Salomons were definitely thinner than what is pictured above. Now that I am thinking a bit more about it, I'm remembering that they were a bit of a hassle to get on and off, because it was a bit more work to loosen them to get the shoes on and off. I guess I remember them being good for staying on my foot in very muddy situations, where I wanted my shoes very securely adhered to my feet.

Probably overkill for regular shoes! Haha. But I am left wondering if they would help by being faster. I think they might be more work than regular shoe laces if you have to adjust them to take them on and off. But then again, I haven't tried this specific brand, so I'm not really sure.

Tried them.  Much prefer normal laces that tie.
