Has anyone taken the California TE exam recently. Are their any books out there that i can buy to prepare?  Thank you.

Moved.

I don't see a lot of people discussing this exam on this forum.  There might be some exam prep material for the TE but I am not aware of any.  I think your best bet is to obtain the listed references and hit them hard.

Found these review courses:

This book is not included on BPELSG's reference list but could be helpful:

So California requires another exam outside of just the PE? Are their state requirements more stringent as far as design goes?

It's not required.  It's a separate exam outside of the PE Exam.  It allows you to use the title 'Traffic Engineer' and place "TE" after your name.

Hello,

Does anybody have any updates regarding this exam? Did anyone take it last year? I plan on taking it this year and I was interested in taking review coursework. So far, the only class I could find is the one offered by Berkeley (https://registration.techtransfer.berkeley.edu/CourseStatus.awp?&Course=1710TE290906&DirectFrom=Search&Origin=All+Dates. I'm not sure though the Berkeley class is offering it so late as the exam is scheduled for October 26! Also,is there somewhere online I can learn more about the exam (i.e. how long is it?). I couldn't find anything on the California board website. Thank you for any and all help!
