Waiting on CA, Civil WRE.

I've received the survey email also, kind of feel a kind-hearted NCEES staff picked the sensitive time to sent out that email to release our anxiety a bit.

Just got word another colleague who took Civil WRE in South Carolina got email yesterday about survey and just found out today that he passed. So it continues to look like only WRE or Environmental examinees who passed for this email.

I passed the WRE in the fall and am currently waiting for the CA-seismic.  I also received the email, so to further add to people's convictions I would venture to say it does mean you passed the 8-hr.  Whether or not it means you actually have your PE is a different story (i.e. I'm not convinced it means I passed my seismic exam in Apr 2016) but who knows......

This is going to be the longest weekend ever :brickwall:

I received the email and passed. Before looking at my scores, I figured that email was a sign I passed! ??? Good luck!

Got the ill timed thing. Civil WRE PM. Still waiting on results in MS

Still waiting here in Michigan too for the results for WRE Exam, but got the survey email last week! Hoping for that PASS!

@MM2 are you sure you aren't referring to the general examinee survey? It appears the email being discussed here was only sent to Enviro/ Civil WRE

Not to burst anyone's bubble, but I think that survey was sent to everyone with an NCEES account that has WRE or Enviro listed as their discipline. I completed the survey this weekend and question #1 asks if you're a licensed PE.

that's what I'm trying to find out but we've only gotten response from people who passed so it's not clear if people receieved the enivro/WRE survey and failed.

That may be true but it could also be referring to anyone who may not have renewed their license. Just trying to keep the bubble from popping.

Matt, it's obvious they're looking for feedback from licensed environmental engineers but NCEES doesn't have a comprehensive database of licensed environmental engineers, but what they do have a database of are people who have passed the Civil WRE or Environmental exams, which would be people who are or will likely be licensed in the near future.  And if you read the email carefully, it says..."If you've become licensed SINCE PASSING the PE Environmental exam or the PE Civil: Water Resources and Environmental exam.." which is an indication that people receiving the email have at least passed one of those exams. I think had they sent it to any and everyone that just registered for the Environmental or WRE exams, they would have just said "If you're a licensed environmental engineer..".

But they have a database of NCEES users and their degrees per the users NCEES profile.

I think you're giving NCEES too much credit.
