If there are any Oregon test-takers scanning the site for Oregon updates, I thought I'd provide a little feedback based on my experiences in April 2013 and April 2014. Typically about 4 to 5 days after the first states start to release, Oregon's online licensee look-up gets updated: http://www.oregon.gov/Osbeels/Pages/Search_License.aspx

If you passed, you'll change from EIT to PE.

The letter usually arrives about a week after they updated their online licensee look-up. Maybe (hopefully) someday soon Oregon will join the rest of the civilized states and start send out result notices online. In the mean time, checking the licensee look-up is the fastest way to get results before they send out the letters, so I'll be checking that this week. If you check and see a PE, post here so we all know it's been updated!

Best of luck to all. Hopefully third time with this chemical exam is the charm for me :)

Thank you for the info, I have been checking myNCEES as well. So far all I have been doing is searching my last name. I took the FE in Idaho so it comes up as no license found. Will myNCEES account be updated after the Osbeels website?

I noticed they have stop answering the phone there since last friday (can't imagine why). They probably only respond to messages now.

The last two years the NCEES website hasn't been updated until around the day you get the letter in the mail, so usually about a week after they update the OSBEELS website. I think once they send out the letters, they tell NCEES they've released the results, so NCEES can post them. I had a friend last test that was an EIT in Washington, and his name didn't show up on OSBEELS until he passed the test, so same situation as you. The hard part is we don't know if it's been updated until someone sees their EIT change to PE. The wait is even worse now that some of the states are out. I would love Oregon to switch to an electronic notification system!

I'm kinda sad to see everyone else get their results while I have to wait on the mail to arrive. I guess I'll keep refreshing the license search in hopes of seeing "Intern" change.

Agreed. It seems very archaic and it's extremely frustrating. More anxiety... just what we all needed :violin:

Well you know what they say, "misery loves company". Thanks again for the heads up. At least I now know I only need to refresh one page.

Good luck to you all!

I haven't checked yet today. I'm scared to look until I know someone else has seen theirs change to PE. :/ Could the active PE numbers with that expiration just be people who have renewed already for the next year?

I checked mine and someone else I know who took the test in Oct. Still says EI. Hopefully that means they still haven't updated the site. In April 13 and April 14, it was 4-5 days after the first states came out before Oregon updated their site, so we could still have a couple of days.

I just called OSBEELS and they said they haven't even received results from NCEES yet, even though NCEES says they released them. Then she said it will take 2-3 days for them to process the results and send out the letters, and they typically only update the Licensee Lookup site on Fridays. So it's not looking good for Oregon to find out anytime soon. She did say they will probably send out the Fail letters before the Pass letters so they can register for the April exam. Not sure how I feel about that...

Interesting. It was a Friday that results came out before, so that makes sense. I bet the licensee lookup will still be the fastest way to find out, let's hope it gets updated this Friday!

I just got off the phone with OSBEEL they said they just got the results and they are working on getting them out to us by the end of this week or early next week.

Good to hear they are trying. I still find it upsetting that Oregon is running as one of the last states this year to the point of releasing results almost a week after they come out. I'm sure if we don't have the actual results by Friday, maybe the licensee search will give us a positive answer.

According to a lady at OSBEELS they typically only update the licensee list on Fridays. So if it's not updated this Friday we're more likely to get our results by snail mail. What I don't understand is how they JUST got the results if NCEES claims they released them to the states on Monday? Why did Oregon just now receive them and all the other states already have them??

I'd really like to know the process behind NCEES releasing to each state. Is it done according to the state's request? Maybe Oregon requires NCEES to ship results to them by snail mail to OSBEELS where they are sorted, reviewed, and then sent out to the examinees by snail mail.

Personally, I'd like to know if I need to save the money for reapplication through OSBEELS and NCEES, or can I spend it on Christmas gifts and/or groceries this month.

Don't forget that **** take home exam. I probably better get started on that now just in case it takes me a few tries.

That seems like the only logical explanation. I just really wish OSBEELS would get with the program and work online like the majority of the country. It's frustrating watching all these results roll in while our state hasn't even looked at ours yet.
