Chasing Dreams
Hi everyone! My name is Mike, and I'm an electrical engineer who has been in the industrial / construction industry for a little over 6 years now. I graduated with a BEEE from Youngstown State (Ohio) back in 2008 and I have been working in the city of Pittsburgh ever since. I recently passed my EIT earlier this month and I am already pursuing my PE license for the state of Ohio.
In Pennylvania, there is a state law that requires you to wait 4 years after receiving the passing score for the EIT. However, in Ohio, no such law exists. Since I have over 4 years working under a PE already, I plan on taking the test in Ohio in April or October 2015.
Anyway, I have joined the EB to research and get some advice on study materials and prep for the Electrical Power exam.
Looking forward to interacting with other people in the engineering world!
