Continuing Education / PDHs

4 posts in this topic

So the state of WI has instated a new Continuing Education for Professional Engineers statute (Chapter A-E 13). A total of 30 PDHs will be required for biennial registration renewal. A portion of the requirements for PDHs reads, "...the registrant shall complete a minimum of 2 PDHs in the area of professional conduct and ethics." I am curious if anyone has any experience for what qualifies as PDHs towards conduct and ethics. Any feedback is appreciated.

Your membership in NSPE or your state should have webinars for it. NSPE has a lot of free webinars for continuing ed.

Texas is another place that has the ethics requirements. Might be worth checking out to see what they're doing too.
