Just got my results also, passed the Power exam, was my 1st attempt, so glad that is over.

Got my PE results today as well.

Passed Structural 1 in the first attempt. What a relief........

Passed...third time's a charm! Congrats to everyone else that passed! And, for those who didn't, don't give up!

Congrats to you all that have passed, I'm hoping Texas results will show up soon. Getting tired of waiting.

Just found out about my passing result on Civil PE. So glad I don't have to do it again.

Woop Woop. I passed the ChE PE in Kississme, FL. First time and out! Yay! I think the secret is studying. I spoke to a couple people that were taking it the second time around and they said they didn't study the first time. I studied my butt off though. Wow, I'm so glad I don't have to take that again. Congrats to all and best of luck to all that have to take it again or for the first time!!!

Anyone know how long it typically takes to get a number issued by FL? My letter said 8-10 weeks, but they also said it would take 9-12 weeks to get the test results.

One of my friends that took it in October said it was only like 4 weeks. When I look on the website it still says waiting for score. Does everyone's say that still? I would think they would have scores by now.

Mine says the same thing. I'm sure they have the scores, it's just a matter of updating the site. It sounds like we don't really have to do anything or pay any additional fee...they will just send everything in the mail. Is that what happened for your friend who passed in October? I see people in other states talking about paying fees and having to jump through more hoops.

She said they just mail it, no additional fees. She said it was more like 6 weeks, not the 4 I had said before. So, I'm assuming middle of July we should have our numbers and certificates. YAY!

My status on the myfloridalicense website says "work in progress". Anyone know what this means?

When I search my name it comes up eligible for exam and when I search by SSN, FBPE, and name it states waiting for score. Can they still be waiting for scores after 2 weeks?

I just spoke to someone at the Florida Board of Professional Engineers. They were very nice even though I know that they are swamped right now. She said not to worry about what the status on myfloridalicense says. She then looked me up specifically and told me not to worry. She said it would be at least two more weeks until we get our numbers.

I was also told that when I apply for jobs, I can tell them that I received notification that I passed but that I am waiting for my license.

I am moving out of state soon and applying for jobs there. There is a specific contact for change of address. When I spoke to this person, she said that she makes the changes right away. She'll need the request in writing as well. She said to wait until I have my license # and until closer to the time that I move.

Man, this is almost as bad as waiting for the results. Glad you called though, I was struggling to resist the urge.

I had to call. My nerves got the best of me. That and the fact that I am moving. I don't want my PE license to get caught up in some USPS limbo.
