What is "trolling"? Does that mean we have to live under a bridge? If so, I would advise against the Atlanta area...

I dropped about 1 more pound since last week, on average. BUT my belt is tighter by 1 notch, and I can see my face getting less fat. So maybe I'm getting somewhere. Just got to keep it up.

Four times??? How cute. That explains the prissy attitude when I passed EE first try with zero background. I would love to continue this conversation, but I have decided against arguing with self-righteous pompous idiots. So, good day to you. And P.S., passing an exam doesn't define who a person is. You just got lucky. Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk

Just make sure you drink plenty of water during the exam, or else you'll have a killer headache when you leave, and the real drinking won't be any fun. Trust me on this!

So what if we have had an armed security guard here ever since the San Bernardino shootings, I still think it is safer for me here at work than at home!

I just wanted to let you know that some of the answers are going to be: A B C D But not necessarily in the order.. Good luck on the exams and well see you on the other side... If you are a "noob" the board will be closed through the weekend to save that one person who cant seem to keep themselves from posting an exam problem.................................................................... When you get back do not discuss the exam, well don't discuss It here for sure..

If the exams are offered more often, does that mean we'll have more spam threads?

The ring does not symbolize one's competence. The Order of the Engineer was initiated in the United States to foster a spirit of pride and responsibility in the engineering profession, to bridge the gap between training and experience, and to present to the public a visible symbol identifying the engineer. In addition, I've encountered other PE's in the field some of whom didn't know their @ss from a hole in the ground.

Umm put that same money into more mental health services? Maybe even full time suicide counselors on the bridge? Otherwise all this potentially does is just take away one option, when there remains countless other ways to do it.

I've taken the mechanical engineering HVAC exam last October and passed. The wait for the result, especially if you're not sure if you passed or fail, is worse than taking the exam. Good luck to you all.

Kylo Ren is terrible - almost as bad as jar jar and Hayden Christensen combined. It's like they try too hard to come up with a villain. When scary old dude and dude in mask and raspy voice usually work... I can't say roque one was any better but it wasn't any worse than force awakens - neither of these movies are going to have a lot of "re watch" power... I.E. they are no empire strikes back

yikes. I guess I just gotta stay ahead of the curve in terms of computerizing because I think I do better with written. That means if I shoot for a successful SE before 6 years is up I should be ok. Yes, I'm so old I took the written FE exam.

Ha ha...$4.50 isn't going to sway my decision one way or another. I think the up-charge is because it's part of a kit whereas I think you can just buy the sushezi on its own.

I have no option to pass out from exhaustion... Though this isn't my first time taking it, so I am familiar with the state of mind I may be in. But I have plans to see a favorite DJ of mine Friday night, so I WILL be rallying and making it to the show! As for the tequila, well, I don't see the harm after I've gotten to my test site! I'll have a good 4 hours to have it wear off before lunch when I could have more. Then four more hours before I need to drive home. Not bad!

Id like to see more of an actual "peer review" system built into licensure. I am sure we all work with that one person whome we are glad are not allowed to do anything "important"! Sort of like going through various military schools, they do a peer review along the way and will expel people from say Officer Candidate School, Ranger School, etc, who constantly receive low marks from their fellow classmates.

I know this topic has been beaten to death, but it makes no sense to me to allow people without any experience to take the Principles and Practice Exam. The exam was created to test engineers who have been working as engineers under the supervision of experienced/ licensed engineers. So some parts of the exam are tough since you've been out of school for years? Tough shit, stop whining, and study. Candidates for licensure should have to work the required years, submit their experience to a board which will deem said experience as adequate or not. If the board agrees their experience is adequate they are given the opportunity to sit for the test and get their license. Doing it backwards, defeats the entire purpose.
