We are here to help others pass this test, even if they are taking it so they can begin a home inspection firm.... Tool Sent from my SM-G920V using Tapatalk

What is "trolling"? Does that mean we have to live under a bridge? If so, I would advise against the Atlanta area...

yikes. I guess I just gotta stay ahead of the curve in terms of computerizing because I think I do better with written. That means if I shoot for a successful SE before 6 years is up I should be ok. Yes, I'm so old I took the written FE exam.

Ha ha...$4.50 isn't going to sway my decision one way or another. I think the up-charge is because it's part of a kit whereas I think you can just buy the sushezi on its own.

And with all due respect to government employees who get paid to conduct useless studies the members of this forum disagree

Id like to see more of an actual "peer review" system built into licensure. I am sure we all work with that one person whome we are glad are not allowed to do anything "important"! Sort of like going through various military schools, they do a peer review along the way and will expel people from say Officer Candidate School, Ranger School, etc, who constantly receive low marks from their fellow classmates.

$10M. I'm sure I could find "good enough" for that kind of coin! Live forever, or know the exact time you're going to die?

I know this topic has been beaten to death, but it makes no sense to me to allow people without any experience to take the Principles and Practice Exam. The exam was created to test engineers who have been working as engineers under the supervision of experienced/ licensed engineers. So some parts of the exam are tough since you've been out of school for years? Tough shit, stop whining, and study. Candidates for licensure should have to work the required years, submit their experience to a board which will deem said experience as adequate or not. If the board agrees their experience is adequate they are given the opportunity to sit for the test and get their license. Doing it backwards, defeats the entire purpose.

Also, I like how this post was about dating style and we're talking about rings....but they're Order of the Engineer rings and not the other kind. lol.

The ring does not symbolize one's competence. The Order of the Engineer was initiated in the United States to foster a spirit of pride and responsibility in the engineering profession, to bridge the gap between training and experience, and to present to the public a visible symbol identifying the engineer. In addition, I've encountered other PE's in the field some of whom didn't know their @ss from a hole in the ground.

I dropped about 1 more pound since last week, on average. BUT my belt is tighter by 1 notch, and I can see my face getting less fat. So maybe I'm getting somewhere. Just got to keep it up.

Four times??? How cute. That explains the prissy attitude when I passed EE first try with zero background. I would love to continue this conversation, but I have decided against arguing with self-righteous pompous idiots. So, good day to you. And P.S., passing an exam doesn't define who a person is. You just got lucky. Sent from my SM-G920P using Tapatalk

Umm put that same money into more mental health services? Maybe even full time suicide counselors on the bridge? Otherwise all this potentially does is just take away one option, when there remains countless other ways to do it.
